It was expressed that there was a wish for this gathering to be held in the Mjøsa region.
Mjøsa, with an area of 365 square kilometers, is Norway’s largest lake.
We have chosen Honne Hotel – Honnevegen 60, 2836 Biri – as the meeting place and for accommodation.

The registration deadline has been extended to Friday, 27 March 2026.

For an additional fee, it is also possible to stay until Monday 18 May 2026 to experience how we in Norway celebrate our National Day, 17 May. A TV will be set up during breakfast service on 17 May, so we will get a glimpse of the celebrations.

Friday, 15 May

We will drive to the northern end of Lake Mjøsa and visit the Norwegian Road Museum. https://vegmuseum.no/.

Then we will travel along the eastern side of Lake Mjøsa and visit Ringsaker Church, a stone church completed in the mid-1100s. https://www.norske-kirker.net/home/hedmark/ringsaker-kirke/

There will be a presentation of the altarpiece and an organ concert.

It may also be possible to climb up the tower (64 meters) to enjoy the view overlooking Lake Mjøsa.

We aim to be back at the hotel around 5:00 PM for the board meeting.

Saturday, 16 May 2026

We will drive along the western side of Lake Mjøsa, with Gjøvik and Raufoss as our destinations.

We will visit the Gjøvik Olympic Mountain Hall, which was built for the XVII Olympic Winter Games in 1994. Gjøvik Olympiske Fjellhall – Visit Øst-Norge
The hall is the world’s largest audience hall inside a mountain, located 120 meters into Hovdetoppen, in the middle of Gjøvik town center. It is Gjøvik’s main venue and a global attraction.
The hall has a permanent exhibition of Norway’s largest collection of rock carvings.

The Industrial Museum presents the history of the Raufoss industry, from the establishment of Rødfoss Patronfabrik in 1896 to today’s modern, high-tech production of everything from defense equipment to car parts.

The story of the Raufoss industry is about product and technology development, as well as social life in a small Norwegian town that has become a workplace for nearly 3,000 employees. The Raufoss industry has been an important player in many key events that have helped shape Norway into the nation it is today.

The museum will also show the balance and interaction between military and civilian products, and highlight working conditions and labor history in and around the factories over the past 130 years.

Due to the military activity, we must provide a list of names in advance of those who will be taking part and driving in the convoy through the industrial area. I hope you do not object to this.

We aim to be back at the hotel around 4:00 PM for the general assembly.

Sunday, 17 May 2026

We would normally be heading home. For those who would like more insight into how we celebrate our National Day, we will visit Hamar. It will be possible to stay overnight at Honne until Monday, or, if you prefer, you can find accommodation somewhere along the way home.
